In the industrial environment, computers
and control systems have to perform in less than
ideal conditions: they are exposed to dust and humidity,
sometimes even water, oil or chemicals. Connections
to equipment are particularly critical. To protect
these sensitive connections, the R&M’s new Splash
Line Outlet is implemented.
R&M Splash Line is a completely new concept
in network technology; it withstands hazardous environmental
influences when used with RJ45 patch cords. When
combined with a suitable outlet, R&M Splash
Line protects connections against dust and water
up to IP54 even with a closed connecting point.
With its relevance to practical applications and
its flexibility, the Splash Line concept represents
a further milestone in modular system solutions
from R&M. |
